Partially installed (no phone cradle) on the Suzuki GSXR. This one is inserted in the center of the triple tree to install.
Speaker Options
Tork XPro Helmet Speakers – I chose these speakers because they are the thinnest ones I could find. I do not like ear buds, and the chatterbox speakers were bulky and poor quality. My first Tork speakers were the X2, which was pretty good, but the XPro, is great. The sound is very clear, I don’t need to turn the volume all the way up with the bikes running. I plug my speakers directly into the radio jack on my phone. If you prefer bluetooth, they will plug into any device with a standard jack.
GoGoove Blue Bar Bluetooth headset receiver. It makes any headphones or speakers receive music wirelessly. Tried it out yesterday. Its tiny, has great sound and didn’t run out of charge all day. After a month of use I’d say its a good $30 spent. My only complaint is that at least once per ride, I lose the connection and the music stops, that really sucks when you’re in a groove on the bike.
For a bit more money, upgrade to the Scala Rider, Sena, Chatterbox or other motorcycle helmet communication device.
Most items here are very easy to install, and not real expensive. The full Ram mount assembly can get pricey, but I think it will last forever. Just change the cradle as I change phones, I won’t need a whole new mount. Safety Disclaimer: don’t text and ride, enjoy your music and check your map red lights.
